We are looking for a Director, Strategic Sourcing to drive global category and supplier strategy and manage spend of $100M+ across LiveRamp’s Technology portfolio. This includes overseeing the entire end-to-end supplier management lifecycle. This role requires the ability to build strong relationships with business partners across the organization (Engineering, Security, Product, Business Technology, and etc.), to ensure alignment with goals and priorities. You must lead with a partnership mentality, focusing on business enablement, and modeling collaboration both internally and externally. The role possesses strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with a proven track record of leading a high-performing and dynamic team. You will be directly responsible for the growth and development of your team, demonstrating a focus on success and a commitment to continuous improvement.You will:
Define and execute the global strategy and roadmap for technology categories in alignment with LiveRamp’s evolving business strategy, supplier development and financial needs.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and act as a trusted business advisor to the various teams in developing new strategies in an effort to increase delivery through human capital, processes, tools, and suppliers.
Having the ability to successfully negotiate contracts/business requirements that meet the needs of organization (risk, quality, cost, etc.) across Technology categories.
Lead RFx process (e.g. requirements development, and selection and award process) and manage communications with suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout.
Initiate, design, plan, execute, monitor, and close process improvement projects, including supplier management and optimization.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve cost savings and reductions in supplier deals, prioritizing long-term value creation. Ensure these savings are realized without impacting supply reliability or product/service quality.
Explore new technologies to optimize performance and transparency to business partners.
Establish procurement governance, audit controls, policy enforcement, and risk/compliance oversight.
Manage other ad-hoc projects.
About You
Required Qualifications:
12+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience, including substantial time in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment.
At least 7 years leading Technology categories, such as cloud infrastructure, enterprise SaaS, developer tools, security, or other core technology domains.
5+ years of people leadership experience directly managing and developing strategic sourcing/procurement professionals.
Proven track record of:
Designing and executing category strategies that deliver measurable cost/value outcomes
Running complex RFPs and leading high-stakes commercial and contractual negotiations
Managing strategic suppliers and driving performance improvement and innovation
Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to clearly communicate project status, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to navigate unstructured and fast-changing environments, influence without authority, and quickly build trust with internal customers, including senior leaders.
Experience proactively resolving supplier performance issues, including commercial disputes, service-level gaps, and transition/off-boarding.
High proficiency in leveraging technology and financial systems (e.g., CLM, intake tools like zSAVE/ZIP, Workday, ERP/finance systems, and BI tools) to extract, analyze, and present data-driven insights.

Strong technology background and able to navigate new systems and tools as both a user and administrator.
Demonstrated experience collecting and analyzing data, applying principles of financial analysis, aptitude in decision making
High customer centricity, business acumen and ambition to contribute towards enhancing the overall domain of program management for procurement and accounts payable
Project management and process improvement background with exceptional analytical, organization, and problem solving skills; use data to drive recommendations
Experience in Sourcing Intake tools (e.g. ZIP, Coupa, Ariba), and CLM tools (e.g. Ironclad), or similar software.
The approximate annual base compensation range is $167,000 to $261,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
