Entrata is recognized as a leader in the industry, with a team of Sales Executives renowned for their excellence and professionalism. We seek an exceptional candidate to join our leadership team as Director of Sales to uphold and further our standard of success.

This role is based in our East Region and is remote.

The role will involve travel into the territory, national trade shows and events, and active participation in local and regional apartment associations.



Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Development: You will provide leadership and strategic direction for the regional sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. You will also play a key role in setting the region's vision and strategy.
  • Talent Management: Lead efforts to hire, develop, and retain top sales talent, ensuring the team is motivated and equipped for long-term success.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with key departments such as Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success to align on strategies, product improvements, and customer engagement efforts. Ensure that feedback from the sales team is effectively communicated and utilized.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop a consistent sales strategy execution within your region, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Revenue Achievement: Support your team in meeting or exceeding revenue goals by monitoring sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and coaching team members on best practices.
  • Customer Relationships: Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. 
  • Process Innovation and Efficiency: Contribute to continuously improving sales processes, methodologies, and tools in collaboration with Operations and other internal teams, driving efficiency and scalability across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a strong background in complex solution selling within the multi-family housing or technology/software sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in executing sales strategies, with experience in deal negotiation, client engagement, and closing deals.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage a team of sales professionals, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Customer Management: Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on customer care and retention.
  • Results-Oriented: Driven to achieve team and regional sales goals, with a focus on accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Track Record: A history of success in sales, both as an individual contributor and in a leadership role.

Currently, Entrata hires in Arizona, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Illinois for Exempt roles and Arizona, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Texas, North Carolina, and Florida for Non-Exempt roles.
