Position overview:

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Director of Marketing to lead our revenue-focused marketing efforts and own the connection between brand, demand, and pipeline. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving measurable growth across the funnel — from MQL to SQL — while leading a high-performing team that’s laser-focused on generating qualified pipeline

As Director of Marketing, you’ll lead a growing team of marketers focused on performance, creativity, and accountability. You’ll set a clear vision and cadence for execution, ensuring each team member is aligned to revenue-impacting goals. You’ll foster a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Product, creating a unified engine for growth.

If you thrive at the intersection of marketing and revenue, love building scalable systems, and know how to translate data into action, we’d love to meet you.

  • Lead and scale a high-performing marketing team focused on driving pipeline, SQLs, and MQLs across all stages of the funnel

  • Build and manage performance-driven campaigns across paid, organic, ABM, and email, aligned to revenue and growth targets

  • Establish marketing attribution models to measure ROI and inform budget allocation

  • Drive marketing analytics and forecasting, reporting on key KPIs like SQL-to-opportunity conversion, and lead velocity

  • Mentor and grow a results-oriented marketing team with deep accountability for pipeline performance

  • Develop segmentation strategies and lifecycle marketing programs to nurture leads through the funnel

  • Stay ahead of digital trends and continuously test new growth channels and strategies to maximize revenue impact

What you will bring:

  • Sophisticated, forward-thinking knowledge of marketing development with a core focus on social media

  • Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Intense focus on driving impact through pipeline

  • Outstanding ability to share business performance using data and insights

  • Commitment to team success and growth

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, monitor, and respond to changes quickly.

  • Strong decision making skills coupled with good judgment.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
