About the role

We’re looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to build the systems, processes, and insights that power a world-class, data-driven marketing engine. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll lead the Marketing Operations function and partner closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Sales Ops, and Finance to ensure our go-to-market motions scale efficiently. You will own the marketing tech stack, optimize critical processes and workflows, establish a weekly reporting cadence to ensure we hit our ambitious growth goals, and deliver actionable insights to troubleshoot pipeline issues.

This is the perfect role for a marketing-ops leader who loves turning data into decisions, thrives in a startup environment, and wants to leave their fingerprints on the operating model of a profitable, high-growth company.

You will

  • Own the marketing tech stack - drive tool selection, implementation, and ongoing administration.

  • Design and optimize end-to-end campaign workflows from lead capture through hand-off to Sales, ensuring every MQL is tracked, routed, and actioned with clear SLAs.

  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards & reporting across channels, funnel stages, programs, and cohorts and identify opportunities to optimize our marketing investments to improve ROI

  • Drive critical projects from strategy to implementation (e.g., lead-scoring models, attribution frameworks, optimizing the lead funnel, etc.)

  • Drive budgeting & ROI analysis—connect marketing investment to revenue impact, recommend spend reallocations, and track CAC payback.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Data and Sales Operations teams to maintain data integrity and ensure single-source-of-truth reporting.

  • Continuously evaluate new tools and processes that unlock scale, automation, or insights

You have

  • 5+ years in Marketing Operations or Revenue/Growth Ops with heavy marketing focus for a fintech or SaaS company

  • Deep experience with modern GTM stacks including HubSpot (or Marketo/Pardot), Salesforce, BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, Mode, or similar), enrichment, chat, and ABM tools.

  • Proven track record of pipeline forecasting, attribution modeling, and ROI analysis that drives budget and resource decisions.

  • Exceptional analytical skills—advanced Excel/Sheets, SQL or warehouse querying, and familiarity with statistical testing / experimentation methodologies.

  • Hands-on builder mentality. You are comfortable designing workflows, writing automation logic, and QA-ing data as needed.

  • Strong project-management chops; able to wrangle multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Clear and concise communicator who can translate complex analysis into actionable insights for marketers, execs, and sales reps alike.

  • Startup grit. You iterate quickly, embrace ambiguity, and enjoy scaling systems from scrappy to sophisticated.

Why work with us

  • We’re profitable with plenty more opportunity ahead, which is good news for your career growth.

  • We offer competitive pay, equity and benefits. The base salary for this role is $180,000 - $220,000.

  • We're a fully remote company. Work from wherever you want in the Americas.

  • We’ve got smart people and a great culture. See our company handbook.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
