Job Description

The Director of Key Account Management, Tech is responsible for managing high-value client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role involves overseeing account performance, negotiating contracts, and developing strategic plans to enhance client satisfaction and business opportunities.

YOUR TASKS 

  • P&L Management: Assume full responsibility for P&L results, collaborating with finance and operations teams to ensure comprehensive financial oversight of key client accounts.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive new revenue opportunities by integrating supply chain solutions with existing client systems and developing strategic account plans to enhance account penetration as well as winning and developing new clients.
  • Client Engagement and Reporting: Lead senior-level client interactions, manage negotiations, and create client presentations.
  • Oversee achievement of client metrics, reporting, invoicing, and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to discuss supply chain performance, market trends, and future initiatives.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Directly manage all Directors and Managers associated with the key accounts, guiding them to meet P&L objectives and ensuring successful business development and process improvement initiatives.
  • Global Coordination: Collaborate with global teams to assess and refine supply chain processes, develop new propositions, and present findings to both clients and internal stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in key account management, business development, or a related field, with a significant portion in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large, high-value client accounts and driving substantial revenue growth.
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, P&L management, and financial oversight.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts and managing key relationships on a global scale.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring teams, with a strong background in process improvement and change management.
  • Relevant industry experience, especially in sectors related to supply chain management or technology, is highly desirable.
