  • Lead the creation, execution, and evolution of the global product development calendar, ensuring alignment across sourcing, production, design, and merchandising.

  • Partner with the SVP to define and drive a sourcing strategy that enhances quality, efficiency, and customer value.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for margin improvement, supply chain agility, and sourcing innovation across all categories.

  • Develop and implement tools and processes to combine capacity planning across business units, track utilization, and optimize vendor allocation.

  • Lead global tariff and de minimis mitigation initiatives, developing strategies to minimize duty exposure, diversify sourcing regions, and ensure compliance with evolving trade regulations and customs requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Design, Merchandising, and Production to integrate sourcing strategies into calendar milestones.

  • Lead cross-company fabric aggregation initiatives to unlock economies of scale and strengthen supplier partnerships.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and global suppliers to ensure sourcing alignment and consistency across brands.

  • Partner closely with the Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure contracts, budgets, and compliance are executed effectively.

Data, AI, and Process Innovation

  • Act as the team’s data and AI champion, driving the use of analytics, predictive modeling, and automation in sourcing decisions.

  • Design dashboards and performance metrics that link sourcing activities to company-wide objectives.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, visibility, and data-driven decision-making across sourcing operations.

Supplier Management & Governance

  • Lead supplier performance reviews, innovation programs, and vendor summits to strengthen collaboration and accountability.

  • Perform market research and supplier analysis to identify and qualify supply partners.

  • Ensure compliance with Fabletics standards, testing protocols, and sustainability initiatives across all sourcing activities.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee operational processes including logistics, capacity management, and regional sourcing center development to ensure speed and efficiency to market.

  • Evaluate factories and vendors using scorecards and support the relocation of manufacturing operations as needed.

  • Build executive and board-level presentation materials summarizing sourcing performance, cost savings, and strategic opportunities.

What you can bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or product development, including 5+ years in a senior management or director-level role.

  • Proven track record in developing global sourcing strategies, optimizing vendor networks, and delivering measurable cost savings.

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience applying AI or automation tools to sourcing and supply chain workflows.

  • Deep understanding of apparel production, vendor management, and sourcing compliance standards.

  • Expertise in capacity planning, milestone tracking, and cross-functional project management.

  • Excellent negotiation, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency in project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Asana, or equivalent.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that values agility, innovation, and operational excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
