The Director of Ecommerce is responsible for owning and scaling Windsor Fashions' digital business, leading a cross-functional team to execute the company's online product strategy, optimize the customer journey, and drive conversion, retention, revenue, and profitability across web and mobile platforms. This role is accountable for achieving sales and margin targets through the development and execution of both technical and non-technical initiatives that enhance the customer experience, improve operational performance, and accelerate sustainable business growth. 

Job Responsibilities:

E-commerce Strategy & Ownership

  • Develop and execute the ecommerce roadmap aligned with brand, revenue, and profitability goals.
  • Own all DTC digital channels, including Shopify, mobile app, international ecommerce, and revenue attribution.
  • Manage ecommerce budgets, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and invoice approvals.
  • Drive omnichannel initiatives, product launches, and digital activations across channels.
  • Define and execute the technology roadmap, including conversion-driving capabilities such as fit tools, checkout optimization, payment methods, and fulfillment enhancements.

User Experience & Site Optimization

  • Lead the ongoing optimization of website UX/UI and the end-to-end customer journey.
  • Oversee homepage, PLP, PDP, and content strategy, including product storytelling, video, UGC, and promotional placements.
  • Drive personalization, segmentation, onsite search, filtering, and merchandising strategies to improve relevance, engagement, and conversion.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Buying, Planning, and Allocation teams to align product presentation, promotions, and online merchandising strategies.

Digital Marketing Integration

  • Partner with Performance Marketing, CRM, SEO, and Creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns across onsite, email, social, and paid channels.
  • Develop cross-sell, upsell, and product discovery strategies across key customer touchpoints to increase AOV and engagement.
  • Manage and scale the ecommerce app experience and growth strategy.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ecommerce managers, merchandisers, SEO, and copywriters, fostering accountability and professional growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, IT, Product, Customer Service, Fulfillment, Merchandising, and Creative teams to execute business priorities.
  • Stay current on ecommerce trends, technologies, and best practices, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and business performance.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Own ecommerce reporting and insights across key KPIs, including conversion, site performance, merchandising, search, and funnel metrics.
  • Develop and execute an A/B testing roadmap to validate optimizations and drive growth.
  • Present performance insights, business trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of e-commerce experience within fashion DTC.
  • Proven track record scaling e-commerce revenue in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus).
  • Deep understanding of digital KPIs: CVR, AOV, UPT, CAC, etc.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Platform & Vendor reporting).
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of sales and CRM functions, ideally in a fashion setting.
  • Successful working cross-functionally; able to communicate complex concepts clearly, learn from others and influence when necessary.
  • Experienced manager with a successful record of developing people and building teams.
  • Track record of increasing conversion, and sales on an ecommerce platform. Experience with domestic as well as international customers/operations.
