The Director, Brand Marketing is responsible for leading brand marketing and branch merchandising efforts across the AAA-MWG footprint. As a Director, Brand Marketing, you are a steward of the AAA brand, serving as a Brand Marketing lead liaison between our Club and creative/media agencies, ensuring the Parent-Brand idea is implemented strategically and consistently.

RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES

  • Selects and manages creative agencies, leading agency and CMO creative briefings to ensure branding efforts are aligned with business objectives
  • Manages the lead media agency, ensuring our media dollars are spent effectively and aligned to business goals
  • Leads our annual brand planning process across lines of business
  • Partners with product marketing and other cross-functional Team Members to support marketing activities such as product, branding, content, and messaging
  • Leads our Club’s brand content creation/curation, business brand standards, and content style guides
  • Leads the branch merchandising team, responsible for partnering with branch operations, real estate/construction, and sales to ensure the look, feel, and experience of our materials match the desired brand experience across our retail footprint
  • Actively participates and provides thought leadership in all aspects of the business unit planning and creative process
  • Responsible for the ownership, negotiation, and execution of corporate sponsorships
  • Responsible for managing budgets, schedules, work plans and performance standards

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Experience with integrated, omnichannel Marketing, preferably brand marketing at the capacity of a Senior Brand Marketing Director/Manager. The candidate must also have had successful experience in launching and driving branded marketing campaigns that have built momentum for a brand’s awareness and Member retention/acquisition.
  • Experience leading the work of a creative and media agency, with a strong understanding of the creative development and media planning/buying processes
  • Experience evaluating creative from various business partners and lines of business, and providing feedback, guidance, and direction
  • Ability to influence and lead within the organization as a brand expert/advocate
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables at all levels of the organization with quick turnaround (strong bias to action)
  • Willingness to stretch outside of comfort zones and seek constant improvement of techniques via leveraging outside partners
  • Ability to self-prioritize and deliver against competing concurrent projects. Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly with cross-functional teams to execute on decisions while maintaining attention to detail
  • Self-driven with the ability to work in a self-guided manner
  • Superb communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $149,109.00 - Mid: $166,315.00- Max: $183,518.00
