As the Senior Manager of Capital Ideas Pro, you will be responsible for leading the client partner platform (Capital Ideas Pro). This includes ensuring governance, strategy development, and effective execution of digital product strategies and roadmaps in support of global Client Group strategic plans and operational needs. You will have the opportunity to mature the organization’s digital product management mindset, while delivering against strategic operating plans and ensuring key stakeholder engagement. Your expertise and leadership will also support the advancement of Capital Group’s digital product management practices and foster a strong team culture and vision.

The Global Digital Products & Capabilities group leads capability development and product management for business capability development (processes) and technologies (tech & data) for the client groups globally (Europe & Asia, and North America) to enable and advance business strategies and operations.

We are searching for a leader to join our team who has experience building digital products that are both business- and tech-aligned and can effectively link business priorities to technology and product, enhance vision and target state, and then communicate this effectively to a wide range of audiences, including C-level executives and key internal/external stakeholders. An innate understanding of how business processes, systems, and architecture come together will be key in this role, as well as the ability to engage with product leaders and technologists as effectively as business leaders. We will look for this individual to help us attract the best talent to Capital Group and help advise on how to build critical skills, bench strength, and a robust and forward-thinking digital products & capabilities organization in support of future growth.

In this role, you will lead through influence and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning in an agile, team-of-teams environment. This team and role are based in our downtown Los Angeles, CA offices.

  • You are an inspiring leader, with product, technology, and business-centered expertise capable of driving successful product transformations and facilitating change within a large-scale, matrixed environment.

  • 10+ years in digital product management with a substantial focus on business capabilities development, preferably in the asset management, FinTech, financial services, private equity, and/or management consulting sectors.

  • You have experience leading large-scale initiatives and driving change.

  • You are an accomplished speaker who is credible and influential, able to communicate strategic and highly complex information to diverse stakeholder groups and audiences at all levels.

  • You set clear and challenging goals and are driven for you and your team to realize improved performance and results.

  • You possess a strong level of business acumen, are knowledgeable about the business environment, and can translate key business objectives and customer needs into an effective architecture strategy and plans.

  • You have a global mindset and consider all relevant operating regions when evaluating impact and making key decisions around technology, architecture, and people.

  • You have demonstrated the ability to manage ambiguity and tackle challenging assignments pragmatically.

  • You have an innovative mindset and lead and develop teams by setting the tone, driving business results, investing in their development, and overseeing their performance, along with a successful track record of mentoring and developing talent.

  • You enjoy thinking about solutions to problems from a data-driven perspective and have a bias for data-driven decision making.

  • Hold a bachelor’s and/or MBA (preferred) in Business, Technology, or a related field.

  • You are comfortable operating in a hybrid work environment, working both virtually and in-office.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $178,847-$304,040

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
