WHO WE NEED:
As a DevOps Engineer II, you will support and mature our AWS cloud footprint. This role requires at least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and strong hands-on experience with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and related compute/network/storage components
- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform (modules, workspaces, reusable patterns)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and/or GitHub Actions
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, including CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and logging pipelines
Soft Skills
- Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, QA, product, and support teams
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
- A proactive mindset focused on automation, simplification, and continuous improvement
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, and other foundational components
- Implement and maintain observability solutions using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS X-Ray, and Grafana dashboards
- Configure, maintain, and optimize AWS data services such as RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, S3, and related storage layers
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML), GitHub Actions or AWS CodeBuild to support AWS deployments
- Write automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline operational tasks
- Partner with development, QA, security, and Azure DevOps engineers to ensure consistent standards across clouds
- Stay current with AWS advancements, DevOps tooling, IaC patterns, and automation techniques
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel to our office may be requested up to once or twice a year
