Job Title: Corporate Counsel

Unis LLC is a leading third-party logistics provider that specializes in a comprehensive range of supply

chain solutions, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Our commitment to delivering

innovative and efficient services have established us as a key player in the logistics sector.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified Corporate Counsel to join our legal team. This

individual will be responsible for providing expert and strategic legal advice to management, handling all

corporate legal processes, and ensuring legal compliance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on a variety of legal issues including contracts, labor law, risk management, and other

legal matters relevant to our logistics and supply chain operations.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including contracts, agreements,

policies, and other legal correspondence.

• Represent the company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials, etc.).

• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, negotiation, and integration.

• Oversee compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, updating policies as necessary.

• Collaborate with external legal advisors as needed.

• Conduct and coordinate research on various legal issues.

• Train and educate employees on legal and compliance matters.

• Provide proactive legal assistance and advice on various legal issues such as commercial

contracts, dispute resolution, regulatory, employment, and governance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the bar in the state of California or eligible for admission.

• Proven experience as a Corporate Counsel or similar role.

• Strong understanding of business and supply chain logistics.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in risk management and conflict resolution.

• Experience in negotiating and drafting contracts.

• Knowledge of MS Office and legal software.
