The Coordinator, Loyalty, CRM & Gift Cards plays a critical role in powering IHOP’s guest engagement engine across loyalty, CRM/email, and gift card programs. This role exists to help the team move faster and smarter by owning the day‑to‑day operational execution, QA, and reporting that keep our programs running flawlessly.

The Coordinator will manage campaign setup, platform hygiene, franchisee support, and cross‑functional coordination—partnering closely with Creative, IT, Guest Relations, and key vendor partners.

Key Responsibilities

Loyalty Operations

  • Set up and QA promotions, rewards, offers, and features in the loyalty platform.
  • Maintain platform hygiene: location groups, closed/new locations, SKU/category mapping and redeemables (image, description, value).
  • Triage and resolve operational issues (e.g., coupon status, redemptions, code exports) and escalate complex cases.
  • Assist with loyalty lookup requests for Field/Guest Relations; manage request inbox SLA.
  • Partner with our internal MarTech partners/ vendors on ticketing and delivery; validate their work on completion.
  • Target Salary $65k-$75k depending on experience

CRM & Email

  • Manage email QA (proofreading, rendering, link/dynamic content validation).
  • Partner with IT/BI/Martech to request data attributes and support manual datasets for personalization.

Gift Card Program

  • Coordinate 1st‑party gift card campaigns (holiday, online exclusives): QA, timelines, and launch readiness.
  • Own invoice coding and update budgets with actuals; maintain campaign trackers.
  • Support field/franchisee requests (ordering, displays, digital codes); maintain FAQ/process docs.

Quality Assurance, Process & Communication

  • Coordinate QA and project management for CRM/loyalty/gift card campaigns
  • Draft program update communications and internal memos (field, franchisees, Guest Relations).
  • Serve as an organized, proactive liaison across IT, Creative, Field, Guest Relations and vendors.

Qualifications

  • 1–6 years experience in CRM, loyalty, lifecycle, email, gift card, or marketing operations (agency or brand).
  • Strong Excel/Sheets (lookups, pivots); comfort pulling and cleaning data.
  • Proven QA discipline and attention to detail.
  • Project management chops: timelines, trafficking, cross‑functional follow‑through.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Hands‑on experience with any of: Punchh (or similar loyalty tool), CashStar/Blackhawk, Chrome River, service desk tools (e.g., Jira), or POS/PLU coordination.
