Current Hourly Rate: $31.00 per hour, increasing to $33.50 per hour effective October 1, 2026.

Conversion SupervisorPosition SummaryThe Conversion Supervisor is responsible for overseeing event operations staff and ensuring all operational tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with event requirements. This role includes supervising crews, executing event layouts, training team members, coordinating schedules, and maintaining equipment storage and operational protocols.
The Conversion Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining facility readiness and delivering a high-quality guest experience before, during, and after concerts, festivals, community events, and other venue activities.
This position requires strong leadership, organization, communication, attention to detail, scheduling abilities, and labor relations awareness within a fast-paced live entertainment environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam OversightSupervise and coordinate conversion crew activities to ensure smooth event operations.
Monitor team performance and provide coaching, guidance, and support as needed.
Assist with staffing assignments and schedule coordination.
Execute event setups and breakdowns according to event diagrams, layouts, and operational timelines.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure all event components are properly installed and operational.
Ensure operational standards and venue expectations are consistently met.
Ensure proper handling, organization, and storage of event equipment in accordance with venue procedures.
Conduct inventory checks and report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment.
Train new hires on operational procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
Support ongoing staff development and reinforcement of operational best practices.
Enforce workplace safety regulations and venue protocols to maintain a safe environment for employees and guests.
Conduct safety briefings and support emergency response procedures when necessary.
Maintain awareness of collective bargaining agreement requirements and support positive labor relations practices.
Serve as a liaison between management and event staff to communicate operational updates and address concerns.
Provide feedback to leadership regarding staffing needs, event execution, and operational improvements.
Previous experience in event operations, venue management, or a related field preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety standards and operational procedures in event environments.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift, move, and transport equipment as needed.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This role is essential to ensuring successful event execution and delivering a positive experience for guests, clients, and team members.
