Head of Camera Platform Ecosystem

We’re looking for a Head of Camera Platform Ecosystem to join Snap Inc! Responsible for Snap’s community of augmented reality developers, you will own the growth of the ecosystem by attracting and engaging developers in both new and existing communities. You’ll establish partnerships and relationships that support marketing and awareness for Snap’s AR platform. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you’ll manage the Lens Studio ecosystem team and collaborate with the wider Camera Platform team and cross-functionally throughout the company to help keep Snap at the forefront of AR.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the Lens Studio creator ecosystem team and be accountable for the growth and impact of Snap’s AR developer community

  • Develop and implement strategies and operations to grow, support and retain developer communities and the adoption of Lens Studio and Snap’s AR platform

  • Work with our Marketing, Partnerships, Business and Product teams to drive strategic outcomes

  • Discover, evaluate, develop, and manage partnerships and business relationships across a number of different verticals

  • Analyze and report on the impact of partnerships and business relationships with a critical and creative mindset

  • Manage information flows and act as a subject matter expert to internal and external partners with regard to the Lens Studio developer ecosystem

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field of study

  • 6+ years of experience growing technical or creative communities, partnerships, business development and/or account management

  • Proven people and resource management skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners

  • Passion for the latest VR/AR/MR/Visual Compute technologies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

  • Familiarity with 3D engine software like Unity and/or 3D modeling and animation software like Maya, and familiarity with interactive content development cycles

  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-moving environment

  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills

  • Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Passionate about Snapchat and Lens Studio!
