With functions spanning global business and consumer marketing, consumer insights, creative, brand marketing, and marketing operations, the team enables and activates marketing initiatives across the entire Snap Inc. ecosystem.
We’re looking for a copywriter to join our creative team in Global Brand Marketing!
What you’ll do:
Ideate on creative ways to market Snap Originals, Games, and Minis, both on-platform and off
Partner with designers and art directors to create campaigns that spark engagement across a variety of touchpoints
Write and edit copy for everything from video scripts to product UI
Internalize the Snapchat voice and cultivate a fun, consistent tone in all of your work
Provide creative guidance to external agencies and partners to ensure brand integrity across a range of projects
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
A master of colloquial language, breaking things down, and explaining what they mean
A strong perspective on what makes a great user experience—in an app, a book, or an appliance
Experience crafting brand voice, tone, and style guides ensuring consistent language across multiple touchpoints
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Manages ambiguity well in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to make quick, high-quality decisions based on evolving project needs and creative goals
Thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work autonomously with strong time management skills
Diligent and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
Understands how to foster and nurture collaborative working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across varying verticals, disciplines, and markets
An inquisitive mind that is energized through engaging with culture (art, technology, experiences, etc—both local and international)
Proficiency in English
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
3+ years professional copywriting experience (in-house, agency, and/or freelance)
A strong portfolio showcasing work across multiple formats (digital, video, social, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in tech, entertainment, and/or gaming a plus
Experience working in a Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, etc) a plus
