We’re looking for an Associate Producer to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Content team, you will work closely with management and our team of curators to identify the best content and help develop, editorialize and program our Spotlight Trending Page. Working from our Los Angeles or New York office, you’ll collaborate with the broader Content team as well as our Talent, Partnerships, Camera Platform and Product teams to build Spotlight into a compelling destination for audiences and creators.
What you’ll do:
Work to develop, editorialize and program the Spotlight Trending Page.
Be an expert in internet culture and deeply understand how content platforms work, with a particular focus on UGC.
Help to drive incentives and platform feedback mechanisms that encourage inclusive and high-quality content creation from the entire Snapchat community. Help to develop creative tools and content formats that help more of our community express themselves.
Develop a grasp of the Snapchat style and voice in order to extend the product offering in an authentic and grounded manner.
Work with cross-functional teams, leveraging your content expertise.
Assist with the development of the Spotlight creator ecosystem, providing content ideas, feedback, and reporting to help creators and partners succeed on the platform.
Ideate on groundbreaking AR concepts, new creative tools and other creative mechanisms to inspire creator participation and build communities on Spotlight.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Expertise of internet trends and pop culture
Understanding of content platforms, especially UGC
Outstanding execution skills
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
3+ years working in digital content or social media
Experience working with UGC
Preferred Qualifications:
Comfort with data and dashboard applications (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
Passion for the evolution of content and entertainment
