About the Role:

We're looking for a Content Accounting Analyst to help maintain the financial integrity of our growing library of content assets. In this role, you will ensure accurate accounting of content commitments, assets, liabilities, and amortization under IFRS and Sony accounting policies, while supporting monthly and quarterly financial close activities.

Reporting to the Content Accounting Manager, you will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses, and work closely with Accounts Payable, Deal Management, and Business Affairs to ensure our records in NetSuite are complete and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for monthly and quarterly close
  • Track and account for content assets, liabilities, and amortization
  • Maintain and input records and metadata into accounting reports
  • Prepare flux and financial statement analyses
  • Consolidate reports from stakeholders and flag items needing review
  • Support internal projects and process improvements
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy of financial records

Crunchyroll has adopted a hybrid work schedule with 3 days a week in office. This role will be based out of our office in Los Angeles, California.

About You:
  • 2+ year of accounting experience
  • B.S. in Accounting with knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Microsoft Excel skills (Index Match, sumifs, pivot tables, etc.)
  • A curiosity mindset to understand the upstream and downstream impacts of your daily work
  • Experience with content accounting is a plus

The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
