TL;DR

Lovable is on a mission to enable every person to build great tools and businesses, and Community is a critical part of the journey. We're looking for a Community Lead to build and scale Lovable’s global community efforts. You’ll own Community as a measurable growth channel, tied to Lovable’s core business metrics. You’ll design and execute programs that empower our champions, educate new users, and connect builders who believe in our vision. If you're energized by creating meaningful connections at scale and have a track record of building community-led growth at product-led companies, we’d love to meet you.

Why Lovable?

Lovable lets anyone and everyone build software with plain English. From solopreneurs to Fortune 100 teams, millions of people use Lovable to transform raw ideas into real products - fast. We are at the forefront of a foundational shift in software creation, which means you have an unprecedented opportunity to change the way the digital world works. Over 2 million people in 200+ countries already use Lovable to launch businesses, automate work, and bring their ideas to life. And we’re just getting started.

We’re a small, talent-dense team building a generation-defining company from Stockholm. We value extreme ownership, high velocity and low-ego collaboration. We seek out people who care deeply, ship fast, and are eager to make a dent in the world.

What we’re looking for
  • Have 3+ years experience in community building or programs, ideally at a PLG company.

  • Have a strong POV on what a great community looks and feels like, and have brought it to life before.

  • Love building systems, but not afraid to jump in and host a meetup, write a newsletter, or answer a Discord thread.

  • Are an exceptional communicator and connector who knows how to build trust and energy online and IRL.

  • Are deeply curious and customer-obsessed, always seeking ways to serve, celebrate, and learn from our users.

Bonus points if you are:
  • A Lovable power user

  • Have experience in education, creator ecosystems, or student engagement

  • Have launched community programs from scratch in fast-paced startups

Your responsibilities
  • Build programs that scale: Design and launch initiatives like ambassador programs, campus partnerships, community education tracks, and creator initiatives.

  • Foster connection: Nurture authentic relationships across audiences—students, champions, early adopters, and fans—by creating spaces to learn, share, and collaborate.

  • Champion our champions: Identify and support power users and superfans through recognition, enablement, and amplification.

  • Create or coordinate high-quality content like guides, templates, newsletters, memes that helps the community learn, grow, and share

  • Measure what matters: Track community health, engagement, and its impact on core business metrics like signups, activation, and referrals.

  • Own our community stack: Maintain the platforms and tools that power our community operations.

  • Be the voice of the community. Surface insights, feedback, and product ideas from the field to shape Lovable’s roadmap.

  • Represent Lovable: Be the voice of Lovable in the wild—whether on Discord, at meetups, or during panel events.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
