Job Purpose:
Under the general direction of the Product Management team, this role provides overall leadership for lines within the portfolio of Commercial P&C products including Fidelity Bond, Management & Professional Liability, and Plastic Card insurance. This position is responsible for leadership, management, coaching and communication for the other Product Management staff and the Underwriting Staff. This position works with other product development functions (e.g. Brokerage, Risk Management, Claims), Marketing, and Sales to improve customer satisfaction, profitability, quality, consistency, and to meet pricing objectives for their lines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive Forms and filing changes to enhance the Product Suite. Drive Product level projects forward and assist with training to promote profitability and customer satisfaction. Work with Product leadership and other members of team to ensure metrics alignment with business objectives for their lines.
- Work with Legal, Compliance, IT and Filing team to ensure compliance of all forms and facilitate any changes needed to stay compliant in the 50 states.
- Accountable for maintaining coverages and policy forms that maintain customer satisfaction, profitability, and pricing objectives for their line. Annually researches, develops, and requests filing of new coverages and policy forms.
- Participates in association and bureaus. Identifies emerging trends for their line and develops strategies to manage risks.
- Provides education and training to sales teams, underwriters and other team members including outside partners like Brokerage firms, Program Partners, and Credit Unions.
- Develop/maintain tools which improve the communication of essential compliance information for the underwriting staff and other business units. Understand, monitor, and ensure that data collection and information sharing practices support corporate standards and comply with applicable laws.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or related discipline. MBA or advanced degree in a related line strongly preferred.
- CPCU, CIC or equivalent certification highly desirable.
- At least 8 years of Product Management experience with demonstrated increasing level of responsibility. Experience may include related areas such as underwriting, compliance, claims, or insurance operations.
- Expert level of knowledge in operations of financial services companies and their influence on exposure to insured losses, including the implications for new products. Knowledge of Programs business is preferred.
- Strong ability to form long-term relationships with co-workers, suppliers, and customers. Proven skill in negotiating, influencing, and willingness to involve others in the decision-making process.
- Ability to clearly communicate in a range of methods (written, verbal, formal presentation).
- Proven capability in strategic thinking and innovation.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

Base Salary Range:
$102,200.00 - $153,300.00
