Job Summary:
DT Professional Services is seeking a mid level Cloudera Systems Administrator to join our team in Norco, CA! The Cloudera Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security measures of company databases. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our on-premises Cloudera CDP Private Cloud Base clusters. This role requires a strong understanding of Linux systems and prior experience with Cloudera Manager. The administrator will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of the clusters, supporting our organization's data management and cloud infrastructure needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure Cloudera Manager to deploy CDP Private Cloud Base clusters
  • Monitor cluster health and performance, making adjustments as necessary to optimize operations
  • Conduct routine maintenance and updates to ensure high availability and fault tolerance of the system 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the cluster, including misconfigurations and hardware or software failures
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in big data technologies and cloud solutions
Basic Qualifications:
  • Possess an active DoD issued Secret Clearance
  • Possess a Security+ Certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years experience as a systems administrator, with at least 1 year in a Cloudera environment
  • Strong knowledge in Linux systems 
  • Proficiency with Cloudera Manager and CDP Private Cloud Base installation and configuration
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Certifications in Cloudera or other cloud and big data technologies
  • Prior experience in managing large-scale data environments
  • Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills
The compensation range for this position: $90,000 - $110,000/annually.
