Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Configure and Deploy Azure Cloud Services utilizing Infrastructure As Code and Automation
  • Collaborate with Software Developers, gathering technical requirements and developing Infrastructure as Code to deploy Azure Cloud Services for customer-facing hosted applications
  • Work in a collaborative team environment, sharing, evaluating, and reviewing code, processes and operations
  • Develop, maintain and manage code in Azure DevOps/GIT working with Bicep, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and PowerShell
  • Full understanding of Agile, Scrum and CI/CD methodology
  • Understand and implement security utilizing Users, Groups, and Permissions, both from Active Directory
  • As needed complete work during maintenance windows/off hours; act as an escalation point for 24 x 7 systems
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure, software, and systems connectivity
  • Administer and manage DataBricks, Power BI
  • Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans related to cloud services
  • Discover and implement opportunities to utilize Artificial Intelligence
  • Ability to train and mentor engineers to build growing team
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor of Science (BS / B.Sc), Bachelor of Arts (BA) required
  • At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Services, Azure DevOps, Bicep, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM) and PowerShell, Infrastructure As Code, Agile Scrum, Artificial Intelligence, Automation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly motivated, detailed, and technically sound engineer with ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Must have a strong desire to learn and an innovative mindset looking for ways to improve team, product, and company
  • Good to have experience in application security, cloud-based network architecture, scripting of system administration tasks, e.g., bash, PowerShell, python, etc.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems and industry compliance and security requirements, SOC1/2, SOX, HIPAA, HiTrust, PCI DSS, ISO27001 would be an added advantage
