Overview

Wild Card Creative is seeking a calm, proactive, and detail-obsessed Associate Producer to help guide the execution of entertainment marketing campaigns from concept to delivery. This role blends project coordination with creative support, requiring someone who can move seamlessly between logistical oversight and creative collaboration. You will act as a key liaison between the project team, internal partners, and clients—keeping everything and everyone on track while also contributing meaningfully to the creative process. You’ll anticipate needs before they arise, communicate with precision, and juggle creative input with logistical execution. Associate Producers are master multitaskers who thrive in creative chaos but are able to bring calm, clarity, and structure to every project.

Job Responsibilities

  • Independently and proactively coordinate and track all phases of the project campaigns, managing all deliverables and adherence to client timelines while staying up to date on project status and providing reliable project status updates as needed.
  • Proactively monitor project campaign health — flagging delays, roadblocks, or resourcing needs early and to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Manage all internal requests (Graphics, Music, Copywriting, Finishing, AE, etc) providing clear direction to internal partners, ensuring they have what they need,  and proactively following up to ensure timelines are met. Have a basic understanding of these team’s workflows and terminology.
  • Tracking and ingesting all client assets (and providing timelines for ingesting assets to internal teams), making sure all parties have the most updated assets and what they need to work with, etc.
  • Stay up to date on all campaign materials; know source material & track all creative deliverables.
  • Professionally communicate and interact with clients, campaign project team, and internal partners.
  • Schedule meetings with internal teams and external clients on behalf of the campaign project team.
  • Responsible for writing clear, concise and detailed client notes that include provided feedback/direction and share that information in a clear and efficient manner with appropriate teams.
  • Handle all client postings (ensuring proper/up to date information provided, correct formatting, attachments are labeled correctly and recipient accuracy), QC spots, and keep track of where spots are in the pipeline (aka locked, still revising, dead).

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • 1+ years of experience as a Creative Coordinator, Associate Producer or in a similar role within entertainment marketing, specifically in Theatrical, AV, or TV/Streaming
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and able to remain calm, prioritize, multitask across multiple projects in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Team oriented with a strong customer service focus - “when the team wins, we all win” mindset
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients, executives, and creative teams alike
  • Proficient in Google Suite; familiarity with Adobe Premiere and FileMaker Pro
  • Strong understanding of post-production workflows and the creative process
  • Able and willing to work overtime and demanding hours based on client needs
  • A passion for storytelling, entertainment, and creative marketing

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
