ABOUT AIRRACK

Airrack is a tight-knit team that pulls off ambitious, innovative YouTube videos that get millions of views. We're creative, gritty, and passionate about making content no one else dares to. If you're looking for traditional media, this isn't it. We work hard, have a great time doing it, and we're always pushing to see how far digital storytelling can go!

THE ROLE

We're looking for an organized, proactive AP who wants to grow into a world-class YouTube producer. You'll own the operational side of every production: locations booked, crew confirmed, budget tracked, vendors followed up on. Nothing slips on your watch. You work directly under the Lead Producer and are the reason the logistics side of a production runs clean.

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Book and confirm all production logistics: locations, crew, vendors, rentals, props, transportation, and accommodations
  • Own the production calendar and keep scheduling on track across every phase
  • Track the production budget and handle vendor payments and expense reconciliation
  • Onboard crew and communicate call times, schedules, and shoot-day details
  • Coordinate equipment rentals and gear needs with the LP
  • Stay on top of every open item and follow up to make sure nothing falls through the cracks

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2-3 years of experience in production coordination or associate producing, preferably in video or digital content
  • You have a real system for tracking many moving pieces. Things don't fall through the cracks because of you.
  • Professional and confident communicating with vendors, crew, and talent.
  • You stay ahead of problems. By the time something becomes an issue, you've already flagged it and have a solution ready.
  • You're not here just to coordinate. You want to eventually run your own productions and you understand that mastering this side of the job is how you get there.

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience with production budgeting software or tools.
  • An existing network of vendors, crew, or location contacts in LA.

Benefits

Salary: $115-130k DOE with performance bonuses available.

WHY JOIN US

  • Work with an awesome group of talented, passionate people who actually enjoy what they do.
  • Constantly push the limits of digital storytelling and do things that haven't been done before.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, plenty of travel, and tons of room to grow creatively and professionally.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
