The Role:

The Associate Manager, Development Marketing, supports the execution of marketing initiatives designed to generate qualified franchise development leads, support Dine Brands' new unit growth objectives, and assist Field Marketing efforts that help franchisees and operators activate local market opportunities. This role works closely with Franchise Development, Real Estate, Market Planning, Communications, Brand Marketing, Field Marketing, and external agency partners to execute campaigns and build a robust pipeline of high-quality franchise prospects aligned with brand growth priorities.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven marketer with experience in social/digital marketing, content management, lead generation, and campaign execution. This individual is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and has experience with franchise or multi‑unit development marketing.

Responsibilities:

Social/Digital Campaign Support

  • Support development marketing campaigns that generate qualified franchise development leads across the Dine Brands Portfolio.
  • Coordinate campaign execution across digital, email, paid media, and lead nurturing channels.
  • Support Field Marketing and local marketing initiatives through social media coordination, Canva asset creation, toolkit development, and timely execution of approved campaign materials.
  • Assist with franchise recruitment trade shows, conferences, webinars, and other events, including occasional travel as needed to support event planning and execution.

Content & Website Support

  • Support and maintain franchise development websites, landing pages, and related digital content.
  • Maintain and update franchise development collateral and marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, sales materials, franchise recruitment assets, and email communications.
  • Support SEO and website optimization efforts to improve visibility and lead generation.
  • Maintain content calendars and ensure messaging aligns with brand standards and growth priorities.

Social Media & LinkedIn Management

  • Support the management of franchise development social media channels, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and develop content opportunities.
  • Monitor engagement and channel performance to support audience growth and lead generation goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support Franchise Development and Real Estate teams with marketing content and collateral, collaborating with Brand Marketing, Communications, Legal, and agency partners to ensure materials align with brand standards, approval processes, and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of projects.
  • Support development marketing projects and special initiatives as needed.
  • Support Field Marketing initiatives, including grand opening administration, local store marketing requests, franchisee communications, market-level campaign coordination, and tracking of key deliverables.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field required.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in marketing, digital or content marketing, multi‑unit growth
  • Experience supporting marketing programs tied to measurable growth and pipeline outcomes.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels including paid media, email marketing, SEO, social media, and website management.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working across cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar workflow tools.
  • Experience supporting Field Marketing, local store marketing, grand openings, franchisee communications, or market-level campaign execution preferred.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Restaurant, franchise, hospitality, retail, or multi-unit business experience preferred.
  • Target Salary $80k-$95k depending on experience
