Support the Research
Contracts Group by managing the full lifecycle of Material Transfer Agreements
(MTAs), ensuring timely processing, execution, tracking, and shipment
coordination. Serve as a key liaison between research scientists, legal teams,
academic institutions, technology transfer offices, and internal operational
teams in a fast-paced research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage
and process outgoing Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) from initiation
through execution and closure.
- Coordinate
with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, academic scientists, and
technology transfer offices regarding agreement status and requirements.
- Track
and maintain agreement records, databases, effective dates, and contract
documentation.
- Organize
signatures, complete post-execution activities, and coordinate material
shipments, including import/export documentation.
- Manage
high-volume correspondence and prioritize multiple requests while
maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
- Support
contract administration activities, including data entry, record
management, filing, and meeting coordination.
- Ensure
compliance with established processes and proactively identify solutions
to operational challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in a scientific discipline; legal education or experience is a
plus.
- 2–4
years of experience in contract administration, research operations,
technology transfer, legal support, or related fields.
- Experience
in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic research, or university
environments preferred.
- Familiarity
with Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), contract management, or legal
agreements.
- Understanding
of scientific terminology, including reagents, antibodies, plasmids, DNA,
and genetically modified animal models.
- Strong
organizational, communication, critical thinking, and time-management
skills.
- Proficiency
with databases, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace applications.
