In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of In-Room Dining, reporting to the In-Room Dining Manager and overseeing 30 Team Members. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of In-Room Dining leadership experience in a Forbes rated environment.

As an Assistant In-Room Dining Manager, you’re not just overseeing the daily operations of in-room dining service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Supervise room service operations: Oversee and participate in daily room service operations, including ensuring guest service standards, product quality, and compliance with operational policies and procedures
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences: Monitor product and service quality, assess guest satisfaction, address issues, and make improvements to enhance the room service experience
  • Guide the team through each shift: Provide hands-on supervision, assist with scheduling, and mentor room service team members to foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Contribute to revenue growth: Assist with implementing marketing initiatives and up-selling techniques to promote room service sales and maximize profitability
  • Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
