Support accessories design team through sketching, tech pack creation, sample coordination, trend and material research, and organizing design files and sample libraries across handbag and accessory lines.
DNAM Brands is seeking a highly organized and creatively driven Assistant Designer to support the development of handbags and accessories across our portfolio of globally recognized brands including Von Dutch, Ed Hardy, Trina Turk, Valentino Orlandi, and Badgley Mischka.
This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who thrives in a fast-paced, fashion forward environment and wants hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle - from concept to final sample.
Responsibilities
- Support the accessories design team with daily design and development tasks
- Assist in creating tech packs, sketches, and colorways for accessories styles
- Coordinate samples, track revisions, and maintain development timelines
- Research trends, materials, and competitive products
- Organize design files, line sheets, and sample libraries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience or relevant internship in accessories or fashion design
- Demonstrated passion for handbags and accessories design with strong knowledge of materials, hardware, and construction.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- You must be based in or willing to commute to our office to be considered for this position.
