Job Summary:
DT Professional Services is looking for an AEM Developer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity! The Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer will play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives by delivering innovative, high-impact solutions using the full capabilities of the AEM platform. This role involves designing and developing modern, intuitive content management solutions that optimize digital asset management and enable seamless cross-device experiences. The ideal candidate will create scalable, user-friendly experiences that elevate customer engagement and support world-class digital content delivery. This role focuses on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Digital Asset Management (DAM). You will design, implement, and support component-based architectures, workflows, and asset management solutions in a collaborative enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategy and enhance customer experience through the design, implementation, and maintenance of solutions on the Adobe Experience Manager platform
  • Collaborate with technology, product, and business partners to understand business requirements and provide guidance on scalable AEM solutions
  • Work closely with the development team to deliver high-quality digital solutions and experiences that meet business requirements
  • Customize AEM DAM interfaces and workflows, and implement custom metadata models and ingestion pipelines
  • Integrate AEM with Adobe tools like Creative Cloud, InDesign Server, Brand Portal, and Desktop Agent
  • Develop OSGi bundles, Sling Servlets, and Sling Schedulers
  • Design and enforce scalable user permissions and content governance models
  • Drive agile practices using JIRA, Scrum, Wiki and Confluence for collaborative development

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have an active DHS or DoD Secret Clearance (or the ability to reinstate if active within the past 24 months)
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of AEM experience
  • Experience with AEM Developer tools such as:
    • Apache Felix
    • Apache Sling
    • Jackrabbit
    • CRXDE
    • Java Content Repository API
  • Knowledge of OSGi and its Declarative Services
  • Solid understanding of DAM workflows, asset ingestion, and metadata management
  • Experience with setup and maintenance as well as User and Group Management
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and web service development (REST/SOAP)
  • Familiarity with building tools, including Maven
  • Develop/deploy custom OSGi bundles
  • Knowledge of patterns and good practices to design and develop quality and clean code
  • 6 years strong JAVA developer experience
  • Experience in: Spring MVC, J2EE, Hibernate
  • 6 years framework experience with Angular and/or REACT
  • Strong experience with System Integration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience initiating, directing, implementing and managing content management platforms for complex, high-volume, transactional websites
  • Strong, hands-on knowledge of Content Management technologies, including Adobe AEM, WordPress, and other publishing and digital asset management platforms
  • Experience with testing at all levels: unit, integration, functional, and performance
  • Familiarity with task management, bug tracking, and wiki-based documentation tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • Meticulous, highly organized, and strong task/project, process and vendor customer management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-organizational team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written (email and formal documents) and verbal (meetings and presentations)
  • Advanced using standard office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook


The compensation range for this position: $90,000 - $130,000 annually.
