Significance is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our NSWC team in Port Hueneme, CA. This position provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient office operations in compliance with Navy policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Two (2) years general experience providing secretarial duties and administrative support to executive staff with office management responsibilities to include budgeting, personnel records, payroll, preparations of briefings, filing, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Associates Degree in any field; 4 years of related experience can substitute for degree
Desired Skills
- Navy experience; knowledge of Navy correspondence and records management standards
- Experience the Defense Travel System (DTS)
