The Account Manager is responsible for managing, nurturing, and growing existing wholesale and offline sales accounts. This role focuses on building long-term client relationships, increasing account performance, maximizing customer retention, and identifying opportunities for expansion within existing partnerships. This role is highly relationship-oriented, proactive, organized, and customer-focused, with a strong ability to manage multiple accounts while delivering exceptional service and driving revenue growth. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction, strengthening brand loyalty, and ensuring consistent communication and execution across all assigned accounts.


Key Responsibilities

Account Relationship Management

· Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with assigned wholesale, distributor, salon, retail, and partner accounts.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication, account needs, and relationship management.

· Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with accounts to strengthen partnerships and identify growth opportunities.

· Maintain detailed knowledge of customer goals, purchasing behaviors, and business needs.


Account Growth & Revenue Development

· Identify opportunities to increase account revenue through upselling, cross-selling, promotions, education, and strategic product recommendations.

· Monitor account performance and proactively recommend strategies to improve sales growth and customer engagement.

· Drive reorder activity and support customers in maximizing product sell-through and business success.

· Assist in executing launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives with existing partners.


Customer Support & Operational Excellence

· Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.

· Coordinate internally with Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, and Education teams to support customer success.

· Maintain accurate CRM records, account notes, forecasts, and communication history.

· Support order management, account onboarding, and ongoing customer education efforts.


Performance & Accountability

· Achieve assigned sales and account growth targets.

· Maintain strong pipeline and account management practices.

· Track customer engagement, retention, reorder activity, and growth opportunities.

· Reinforce professionalism, responsiveness, and relationship excellence across all customer interactions.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales or account management experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with strong negotiation and closing abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple customer accounts simultaneously
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software; self-motivated and results-driven
  • Ability to travel for trade shows and customer visits
  • Experience in the professional nail, beauty, or cosmetics industry, ideally with existing relationships with nail distributors, beauty supply stores, or salon owners
  • Knowledge of gel polish, acrylic systems, nail tools, and professional nail products, plus experience with wholesale sales strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Multilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese), experience with professional nail brands, or familiarity with Shopify, NetSuite, or wholesale ordering platforms — all a plus!
