Overview

The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon Retail, overseeing day-to-day account operations, managing key business relationships, and driving profitable growth across multiple business units. This role is responsible for resolving operational issues, analyzing business performance, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and developing strategies that improve visibility, sales, and overall account health within Amazon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily communication and operations with Amazon Retail and cross-functional Amazon teams.
  • Resolve operational issues, including ASIN suppressions, promotional funding discrepancies, and other account-related challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with Amazon category managers and key stakeholders to support brand visibility and growth initiatives.
  • Negotiate business terms and participate in joint business planning activities.
  • Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, profitability, and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with category, marketing, and eCommerce teams to develop and execute growth strategies.
  • Support forecasting, inventory planning, and demand management in collaboration with internal teams and Amazon.

  • Establishes trusted relationships with Amazon stakeholders and internal business partners.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves operational issues with minimal disruption to the business.
  • Uses data-driven insights to improve sales performance, profitability, and account health.
  • Drives successful execution of growth initiatives and business plans across product categories.
  • Maintains accurate forecasting and inventory planning to support business objectives.
  • Quickly assumes ownership of the Amazon Retail account and becomes a reliable resource for both Amazon and internal teams.

RequirementsQualifications
  • Bachelors Degree, required.
  • 3+ years of Amazon account management experience, with hands-on expertise in Amazon Vendor Central.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in profit analysis, margin management, ROI optimization, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data and business insights into actionable strategies that drive growth.
