The Role
Nativo is looking for an Account Executive (AE) in Chicago for an exciting experience to join our team in connecting content to conversion by creating meaningful connections with qualified consumers on the only ad platform that combines the power of content with scale, measurement, control and conversion. The AE will act as an individual contributor on the team and is responsible for quota attainment (quarterly that ladders to annual) and sales efforts within their territory of direct clients and agencies by evangelizing Nativo, cultivating client relationships, and providing specific native/content marketing solutions.
What You'll Do

  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Identify new business opportunities with both media buying agencies and clients directly (while also working to renew and drive incremental business from running accounts)
  • Consult with clients on their content, marketing and business needs; strategically design and execute comprehensive content and media initiatives through the Nativo platform
  • Demo and in time master Nativo's suite of solutions and products, formats and capabilities
  • Develop account strategies to drive long term revenue growth, develop requests for proposal responses and programs, and drive upfront media buying
  • Generate a high volume of logged and measured sales related activity including calls/meetings, presentations, proposals, and client entertainment
  • Build strategic level relationships with clients and agencies and generate high level campaign ideation to meet client goals and objectives
  • Travel to client/agency meeting sites within your book of business


What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, media, programmatic, and interactive
  • Knowledge/Experience of native advertising, content marketing, ad tech platforms, brand storytelling, audience targeting, and optimization strategies, applied across all screens
  • Expertise and a strong POV on specific advertising verticals
  • Client direct and agency selling experience with both managed and programmatic programs required
  • Baseline understanding of predictive/cookieless possibilities and impact of AI on media
  • Strong contacts within the industry and in your territory
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic landscape
  • Must be highly motivated and a team player
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to manage a large volume of prospecting activity (outbound calls, client meetings, proposals, etc.)
  • Excellent in negotiation and closing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office & CRM Software (Salesforce) plus lead platforms like Winmo, MediaRadar or SellerCrowd
  • BA/BS degree required

Nativo is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The starting pay range for this role is $110,000 - $132,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years' experience, certifications, and specific location. The starting pay range may differ by location.
