As an Account Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering technical expertise and building relationships with prospects and customers as they explore the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. You’ll work alongside experienced team members, contributing to a variety of customer engagements, from technical evaluations to inspiring future-state architectures. This role blends technical problem-solving, collaboration, and customer focus, making it an exciting step for someone looking to grow into a technical customer-facing role.

What You’ll Do

  • Support Customer Engagements: Assist in presenting Snowflake’s technology and vision to diverse audiences, from technical contributors to business leaders. Develop your skills in aligning technical solutions with business outcomes.

  • Contribute to Technical Wins: Collaborate with customers to plan and execute technical evaluations and proof-of-concept demonstrations, supported by senior team members. Help tailor solutions to customer needs while learning how to communicate business value effectively.

  • Learn & Build Relationships: Partner with customers and technical champions to foster trust and collaboration. Build your expertise in championing Snowflake’s capabilities and contributing to long-term customer success.

  • Develop Technical Expertise: Gain hands-on experience through tailored demos, hands-on labs, and Snowflake’s extensive learning resources. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.

  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Snowflake’s partner ecosystem to ensure customers realize the value of Snowflake.

  • Grow as a Professional: Take advantage of mentorship opportunities, on-the-job learning, and a team that’s invested in your development.

What You Bring

  • Foundational Experience: Some experience in a technical role (e.g., Solution engineering, solutions architecture, or software development), preferably in SaaS, data analytics, or cloud technology.

  • Willingness to Learn: A passion for solving problems and eagerness to grow your technical and business skills.

  • Technical Aptitude: Basic familiarity with SQL and/or Python, or a strong willingness to learn.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both written and verbal.

  • Customer Focus: A desire to understand customer challenges and deliver meaningful solutions.

  • Team Player: A collaborative approach to working with peers, partners, and customers.

What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)

While not required, experience in any of the following areas is a plus:

  • Working with modern data technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, BigQuery etc (including CI/CD tooling, Spark, containers, DevOps tools, orchestration tools, Git).

  • Understanding public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.

  • Familiarity with data science, machine learning workflows, or governance tools.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $140,000 - $183,750 OTE (On Target Earnings = Base Salary + Commission)

  • Snowflake offers competitive base salary, variable compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision, flexible PTO, and professional development budget.
