Job Summary
The 3D Artist will report directly to the Director, Creative Production and be responsible for delivering high-quality 3D content using a wide variety of skills and software (modeling, texturing, animation, motion graphics, compositing, dynamics etc.). The role will require a diverse skill set in 3D art, an excellent eye for artistic quality, the ability to adhere to specific art directions, and strong creative ideation skills.
Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Build 3D models of cosmetic products for all Markwins brands
- Generate high-poly, accurate 3D models of products in native formats (3D Studio, FBX, OBJ) with texture included for animation
- Create photo-realistic materials, lighting, textures, and rendered images for various uses
- Ensure accurate color matching for all products
- Collaborate with VP of Creative and Director of Creative Production to understand quality and expectations for all projects from each brand
- Perform other assigned duties as needed and directed by management
Minimum Qualifications
- Must provide a portfolio file or have a portfolio site to be considered
- 3+ years of professional experience within a dedicated 3D Artist or 3D-related role
- Proficiency in Blender software, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Experience with 3D animation
- Excellent proficiency in 3D modeling, rendering, lighting, textures, and animation
- Sharp eye for details and aesthetics, especially with accurate color matching ability
- Excellent work ethic with an ability to follow direction while working independently
