What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
Internship responsibilities may include:

• The Data Center Critical Infrastructure team (DCCI) supports the equipment responsible for Charter's many products. All broadcast services, VOD, telephony, and commercial business offerings are processed at our sites and distributed to various hubs throughout our footprint.
• Candidates will assist with BAU equipment rack mounting, layer 1 fiber and CAT6 builds, monitoring and adjusting HVAC and power systems. They will also participate in project design, producing material needs lists (BOMs), assessing impacts to existing infrastructure, creating SOW documents in Visio, PDF, Power Point to provide details of the proposed work.

Required qualifications

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
