The role also manages project scope, budget, schedules, and coordination.

Apply quantitative analytics and data science to Metropolitan’s wholesale power portfolio. Responsibilities include developing an energy data warehouse, auditing and automating data pipelines, forecasting market prices, optimizing resources, modeling energy deals, and supporting risk analytics such as forward curve validation, volatility analysis, Value-at-Risk, and stress testing. The role also develops dashboards and leads analytical testing to improve portfolio performance, financial reporting, and long-term resource planning.

Develops and implements cathodic protection measures for pipelines and water treatment infrastructure. Conducts field condition assessments, corrosion control testing, and asset management activities. Collaborates with design engineers, operations teams, and external agencies, while using enterprise GIS to collect, manage, and analyze infrastructure assessment data.

Design and evaluate structural systems for water treatment, conveyance, and distribution infrastructure. Prepare calculations, plans, specifications, estimates, and technical reports; oversee projects, inspections, construction submittals, consultants, vendors, budgets, and schedules; and lead structural investigations, testing, and stakeholder presentations. The role includes office and fieldwork at District facilities throughout Southern California.

Provides confidential administrative and analytical support to Human Resources leadership and services teams. Responsibilities include preparing reports, presentations, agendas, and correspondence; maintaining HR systems and collaboration platforms; supporting employee programs and board activities; coordinating HR projects; researching organizational and personnel issues; analyzing data; updating policies and procedures; and presenting recommendations to leadership. Requires collaboration with managers and employees while managing multiple priorities and sensitive information.

Leads full lifecycle project management for industrial control system upgrades across water treatment plants. Provides technical oversight to engineering staff, plant technicians, and consultants; coordinates with Operations, OT, IT, Engineering, and field teams; reviews technical designs and budgets; and supports SCADA construction, testing, commissioning, and startup. Also assigns work, schedules activities, directs staff, and supports employee development and training.
