Provides legal counsel to U.S.-based commercial real estate managers and professionals. Drafts, reviews, and negotiates commercial contracts and transactional documents; analyzes legal and business risks; advises executives and field teams; supports transactions; and negotiates with opposing counsel and clients. Requires strong judgment, drafting, problem-solving, collaboration, and organizational skills, along with comfort integrating AI into legal processes.

Lead and scale Newmark’s global Workplace Experience program within Facilities Management and Occupier Solutions. Develop hospitality-led service models, operating standards, playbooks, staffing approaches, training, KPIs, reporting, and technology strategies. Advise clients, support account growth, oversee complex implementations, and drive consistent service delivery across multi-site programs. Partner with FM, client care, technology, data, business development, and regional teams to improve employee, occupant, and client experiences.

Supports institutional commercial real estate investment sales throughout the deal lifecycle. Responsibilities include maintaining comparable sales data, preparing property summaries and offering materials, coordinating investor tours, managing CRM and deal-platform updates, supporting bid processes, presenting investment theses, and preparing closing documentation. Requires strong analytical, communication, organizational, client-service, and multitasking skills, along with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Lead workplace strategy and asset optimization across the West Coast, advising clients on hybrid work, AI-enabled workplaces, utilization and occupancy modeling, designing executive workshops, translating insights into strategy and change roadmaps, building multidisciplinary teams, and supporting business development and regional project financials.

The Closing Associate coordinates and manages the loan closing process, ensuring documentation accuracy and timely communication with stakeholders.

Underwrites complex multifamily commercial real estate loans using Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines. Performs financial, market, economic, demographic, and property analysis; prepares loan approval packages; presents findings to credit committees; collaborates with originators, senior credit teams, closing departments, and agency investors; maintains client relationships; and conducts property inspections as needed.

Performs financial analysis and monitors property and borrower financial conditions for elevated-risk situations. Reviews financial statements, maintains databases and reports, supports compliance processing, reports findings to investors and management, escalates risk indicators, recommends problem-loan transfers, and monitors compliance with loan documents. Requires strong analytical, organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills, plus a relevant bachelor’s degree and 10–20% travel.

Leads category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier management for facilities and project management spend. Develops preferred supplier programs, conducts spend analyses, supports business development and RFPs, negotiates supplier agreements, presents to executives and clients, and drives procurement targets. Collaborates with procurement, finance, facilities, property management, and suppliers to implement roadmaps, expand program coverage, and improve sourcing practices. Initially an individual contributor, the role will eventually hire and manage Category Managers.

Lead and deliver office and tenant improvement projects from planning through completion. Oversee architects, engineers, contractors and relocation/furniture vendors; manage budgets, schedules, scope changes, compliance, and stakeholder communications; coordinate across facilities, IS, security and building trades; act as primary client contact.

Supports the firm's compliance and governance framework for mortgage lending and servicing operations. Oversees policies, regulatory and investor deliverables, audits, certifications, reporting, licensing requirements, document governance, insurance compliance, wire audits, and remediation. Manages the GST team, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures compliance with federal, state, municipal, GSE, HUD, Ginnie Mae, and corporate requirements.

Develop and articulate tailored occupier solutions for major pursuits, support proposal and RFP development, align cross-functional teams, translate client needs into scalable solution frameworks, participate in pursuit strategy and client meetings, and leverage market intelligence and AI tools to enhance proposal quality and speed.
