Support supplier manufacturing of complex machining, gear, and motor components through process development, capability analysis, risk mitigation, DFx/DFMA, PPAP/PFMEA, Gage R&R/MSA, and root-cause improvement to ensure compliant, capable, and high-quality production.

Support development and execution of project development plans for defense hardware and electronics. Coordinate program activities, monitor schedule and cost, resolve test anomalies, perform trade studies and analyses, and ensure transfer of producible, robust designs to production while interfacing with customers, subcontractors, and internal departments.

Provide systems engineering for design, integration, test, and verification of electro-mechanical turret and fire-control subsystems. Develop control algorithms, build dynamic models and simulations, define hardware/software interfaces, support lab and field testing, interface with customers and suppliers, and generate technical documentation. Provide technical leadership and test support.

Design and evaluate robust, high-reliability linear and rotary electromechanical actuators using multidisciplinary analysis (mechanical, structural dynamics, electrical, thermal). Lead integrated product teams, interpret customer requirements, predict system-level performance, and select optimal solutions. Support integration and testing; travel up to 25% as required.

Lead contracting for Commercial Aircraft OEM programs, provide strategic contract review and negotiation, manage international transactional and export compliance issues, develop contracting policies, train program teams, support M&A due diligence and post-close contract transitions, and collaborate cross-functionally on complex disputes and risk mitigation.

Manage and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and forecasts. Monitor planning KPIs, resolve scheduling conflicts, support MRP/DDMRP processes, prepare reports and presentations, coordinate with production, supply chain and program management, and train staff to optimize workflow and inventory control.

Lead regional knowledge management strategy and programs across Western US Moog sites. Build and coach KM teams, capture and share critical technical knowledge, integrate KM systems, measure effectiveness, drive training and adoption, and partner cross-functionally to sustain KM practices aligned with corporate standards.

Lead cross-functional teams to develop, verify, and deliver electromechanical and hydraulic actuators. Manage project planning, budgets, schedules, requirements, test/qualification, customer interfaces, and reporting throughout product lifecycle.

Assess and improve manufacturing capabilities; design and transfer tools and fixtures; lead automation and process improvements; resolve production issues and root causes; execute validations (IQ/OQ/PQ); manage ECNs, CAPEX, CAPAs and preventive maintenance; support lean initiatives, train production teams, and present updates to leadership.

Set up and operate large CNC/NC machines and saws, perform machine setups, inspect and measure parts, read blueprints, apply SPC, meet production standards, train junior staff, and assist logistics tasks (receiving, stocking, packing, shipping).

Manage supplier quality across lifecycle: conduct supplier assessments and audits, resolve nonconformances with CAPA, approve supplier documentation (PPAP, control plans, FMEA), support NPI, perform root cause analysis, monitor supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement using aerospace quality standards and AS9145 concepts. Travel ~25%.

Develop and mature manufacturing processes for production hardware, support NPI and legacy programs, design tooling and fixtures, troubleshoot and optimize machining and gear production, specify capital equipment, implement automation/Industry 4.0 improvements, and provide technical ownership for gear equipment while coordinating cross-functional teams to improve yield and efficiency.

Lead contract strategy, negotiation, and compliance for Turreted Weapon Systems programs. Mentor junior contracts staff, support proposals, manage FAR/DFARS regulatory risk, liaise with legal, finance, and program teams, and monitor contract financial performance.

Lead systems engineering for design, integration, test, and verification of complex electro-mechanical turret and weapon subsystems. Define interfaces, develop and analyze control and signal-processing algorithms and dynamic models, support lab and field testing, generate technical documentation, and provide technical leadership while interfacing with customers and suppliers.

Develop and mature manufacturing processes for aerospace production hardware, support NPI and legacy programs, design tooling/fixtures, troubleshoot process yield, specify capital equipment, and drive continuous improvement and automation in the machine shop, including technical ownership of gear production equipment.

Lead design, development, integration, and testing of turreted weapon systems from contract award through production. Guide multidisciplinary engineers, manage configuration control and BOM, develop test plans and tooling, support field testing, proposals, and supply chain coordination.

Develop and execute project development plans for defense systems, coordinate implementation and program support, monitor schedule and cost, ensure producible designs transfer to production, liaise with customers and subcontractors, coordinate cross-functional teams, and perform trade studies and analyses to resolve hardware or test anomalies.

Lead sustainment activities to ensure continuous operation of deployed test equipment. Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, obsolescence, procurement, corrective actions, root-cause investigations, documentation updates, quality audits, and customer communication for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, electrical, software, and power distribution test systems.

Plan, implement, and administer manufacturing quality programs to meet contractual requirements. Support production with failure analysis, root cause/corrective actions, audits, configuration control, traceability, and quality plans. Use statistical analysis to optimize inspection and prevent failures while interfacing with customers and government agencies.
