Supports technology and business roadmap analysis, Class 4 and Class 5 estimates, engineering calculations, budgets, schedules, requirements, lifecycle planning, and customer proposals. Collaborates with cross-functional teams on telecommunications and network initiatives involving cloud, security, unified communications, transport, capacity, and risk analysis. Produces reports, presentations, cost models, and project documentation under close supervision while assisting senior engineers.

Designs, implements, and supports complex telecommunications transport and network infrastructure. Responsibilities include architecture, high-availability design, troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization, documentation, KPI definition, project coordination, escalation management, and technical planning. The engineer provides final design specifications, supports long-term architecture, mentors junior staff, and delivers technical direction across multiple departments. Occasional travel, shift work, and after-hours emergency support may be required.

Designs, implements, supports, and optimizes high-availability IP/MPLS, carrier Ethernet, cellular, and video transmission networks. Responsibilities include capacity planning, bandwidth forecasting, outage troubleshooting, network monitoring, infrastructure documentation, escalation management, project coordination, and continuous improvement. The role provides technical direction to junior engineers and technicians, supports telecommunications engineering projects, and applies standards for availability, redundancy, scalability, efficiency, and security.
