Supports insurance defense attorneys throughout litigation by preparing pleadings, discovery, motions, correspondence, and court filings. Manages calendars, deadlines, service of process, case files, client and opposing-counsel communications, billing support, and trial preparation. Requires 3–7 years of insurance defense litigation paralegal experience, knowledge of California state and federal court procedures, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

Manage insurance defense litigation cases from inception through resolution, including file management, case strategy, pleadings, motions, discovery, legal research, depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences. The attorney will communicate with clients, insurers, opposing counsel, and courts while independently managing multiple cases and collaborating with legal staff.

Manage California workers’ compensation defense caseloads for employers, insurers, and third-party administrators. Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences before the WCAB. Prepare pleadings, motions, correspondence, and case documents; conduct legal research; develop strategies; negotiate settlements; provide client updates; and coordinate with attorneys and support staff.
