GoSpotCheck closes $16.5M Series B
Denver-based GoSpotCheck announced this week they’ve closed a $16.5 million Series B in a round led by Insight Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors, including Point Nine Capital. Dizzion raises $6.4M in new Series A1
Cloud-hosted desktop provider Dizzion raised a $6.4 million Series A1 as it looks to add staff and expand its desktop delivery capabilities. The company has capitalized on the growth of remote workers and cloud computing across industries. Colorado accelerators win $50K in SBA competition
Three Colorado accelerators won $50,000 in funding from the Small Business Administration’s Office of Investment and Innovation in a competition designed to raise awareness of funding challenges among entrepreneurs. Turing to offer scholarships to displaced ITT students and employees
In the wake of the sudden closure of ITT Tech, Denver’s Turing School of Software and Design has announced they will offer scholarships to displaced students and employees from ITT. For their final class of 2016 and each of their seven 2017 classes, Turing will offer two $5,000 scholarships per class to former ITT students and employees to offset the school’s $20,000 tuition. Students and employees must have been enrolled in or working at ITT during the 2016 calendar year to qualify. [Blog post]
