As easy as it is to hate LA's gridlock, it actually presents a golden opportunity to take some time to enjoy a podcast. Thankfully, there are a number of tech, business and entrepreneurial-focused programs that call LA their home. Here are six LA-based podcasts you should be listening to.
We Are LA Tech
Although logistically unlikely, it seems that Espree Devora is everywhere at once. The podcaster/entrepreneur/writer/athlete has become synonymous with LA tech, and was named to Built In LA's 50 influential people in LA tech you should follow on Twitter AND 50 LA women startup founders you should know lists. Her weekly podcast, We Are LA Tech, features Silicon Beach's best and brightest, highlighting exceptional startups, industry innovators and tech influencers alike.
Stories of the Influencer Economy
Hosted by industry veteran Ryan Williams, the Influencer Economy podcast is a one-on-one interview between Williams and social media influencers and professionals, aimed at showing the power that influencer marketing can have for on branding. Formerly the director of marketing at Machinima, Williams runs a consulting company that helps brands scale their platforms.
Business Rockstars
Business Rockstars is one of the most notable podcasts on the market today, and it just so happens to be headquartered in LA. Hosted by entrepreneur Mark Lack, the series discusses business, tech and startups with a number of startups, many of whom also call the LA area home, as well.
Be Amplified
The Amplify Collective has created a network of women joined together to create lasting relationships in the tech. Hosted by Bri Seeley and Thaís Guimaraes, the Be Amplified podcast is designed to discuss everything from entrepreneurs to tech and even a few well placed inspirational stories and advice from founders.

SmartTech Podcast
SmartTech doesn't mince words: each episode is dedicated to highlighting different technologies that host Chuck Minear finds interesting, whether that be hardware or software. Each episode highlights a technology that could eventually change the world, and it's exciting to learn about one potential company and see how they grow.
LA Business Journal Podcast
Want to stay up-to-date with the goings-on in the LA tech community? Make sure to check in with LA Business Journal's weekly podcast, hosted by editor Jonathan Diamond. They discuss the deals, fundings and moves that you might have missed over the course of the week.
The Art of Manufacturing
The sheer volume of businesses operating in the LA area is staggering, and as the Make It In LA movement — Mayor Eric Garcetti’s initiative to celebrate the local businesses — continues to gain steam, so too does Z Holly's new podcast. Each week, Holly takes a look inside a wide variety of industries to gain insight into how they operate as the influence of technology streamlines processes and brings age-old industries into a modern light.
