Snap acquired Fit AnalyticsThe social media company made the acquisition to extend the reach of its technology into the e-commerce and shopping sectors. Fit Analytics provides shoppers with a solution for finding apparel and shoes in their appropriate size, and it also offers retailers analytics to help them increase their sales. Snap has made about 20 acquisitions to date. [TechCrunch]

Flowspace pulled in $31MA boom in e-commerce has led to increased demand for online retailers, meaning they need more space to store their products. Flowspace offers warehousing and order fulfillment services for these businesses and is planning to expand its reach after its Series B funding. The startup is planning to use the money to launch its PledgeCam product, a virtual camera app that operates like a telethon to secure donations. ZenSports got $2.4MIts mobile sports betting platform provides users with a traditional book in addition to a peer-to-peer sports betting marketplace. With Series A funding from investors including Gaingels and MicroVentures, ZenSports is planning to complete its current U.S. gaming license applications that are on file in Nevada and Tennessee. RepairSmith expands into PortlandBy partnering with two nonprofits in the greater Portland area as part of its Jump Start program, the LA company is expanding the reach of its at-home car repair and maintenance service.
