Whatnot, a mobile platform dedicated to live commerce, announced its $545 million Series G funding round. The company operates a livestream shopping platform in the U.S., U.K. and Europe, helping small business merchants connect to millions of shoppers.

The company has recorded significant growth among the businesses that use its platform. Whatnot’s sellers have achieved more sales as of August 2026 than they did throughout the entirety of 2025, and the platform sees 650,000 new people join every week. Additionally, the proportion of sellers making a full-time living through Whatnot’s platform has grown by 25 percent.

The company plans to invest its latest capital injection in further supporting the small businesses fueling growth on its platform. Whatnot plans to attract more buyers through new marketing initiatives, enhance its platform’s trust factor and expand into new categories. The company is growing its footprint into new markets and investing in building AI-assisted tools to handle certain tasks for its sellers.
