From the latest sustainability solutions to the wonderful world of Web3, Los Angeles is always teeming with tech innovations. As the companies powering the Tinseltown tech front continue to thrive, some are making huge waves when it comes to growth. 

Inc. magazine released its 2022 list of the nation’s fastest-growing companies. The magazine ranked U.S.-based privately-held companies by their percentage revenue growth between 2018 and 2021. A total of 290 Los Angeles-area companies ranked on the list, garnering a combined $34.4 billion in revenue and creating more than 618,000 jobs.

The list features 164 repeat honorees such as cybersecurity company Resecurity at no. 2,477, network provider TruConnect at no. 1,692 and events software provider Swoogo at no. 1,938.

As it helps businesses resonate with their target audiences, the platform also helps music sellers increase the value of their catalog through monetization. Earlier this year, the platform acquired Musicube to enhance its solution. Songtradr has grown its revenue by 3,440 percent over the last three years, as reported by Inc.

Operating a financial services solution, Marina del Rey-based Aspiration hopes to help combat climate change. It aims to do so by offering customers spending programs that let them monitor the environmental impact of their spending as well as get cash back on debit card purchases at socially responsible businesses. Aspiration grew its revenue by 3,881 percent from 2018 to 2021, according to Inc.

Generation Genius offers an edtech solution that provides students in kindergarten to eighth grade with science and math videos and other teaching resources. Its content is produced in partnership with the National Science Teaching Association and aligned to standards in all 50 states, according to its website. Inc. recorded that Generation Genius’ revenue grew by 4,891 percent over the past three years.

The advertising and marketing company offers creative services to help businesses build brand awareness and equity among Gen Z and millennial audiences. Its goal is to help brands by creating cultural relevance across mainstream and emerging social platforms. Movers+Shakers saw revenue growth of 6,720 percent within a three-year period, as reported by Inc.
