Summary
Grindr is looking for an Account Manager (AM) to join our dynamic and growing Brand Partnerships team. This role serves as the key liaison between the Brand Partnerships Sales team and all other departments to facilitate sales and execution of partner ad campaigns. The Account Manager will work with Sales to facilitate the management of all aspects of partner campaigns both pre-and post-sale, providing an end-to-end experience for Grindr brand partners. This role includes analysis, planning, research, project management and brainstorming.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong understanding of Grindr’s ad products, internal systems, and partner teams.
- Participate in pre-sales brainstorming, create media plans and assist sellers with proposals.
- Work closely with AdOps/Trafficking, Product and Creative Services teams as needed to craft impactful solutions for clients.
- Oversee I/O processing, campaign setup and creative submission via client teams.
- Serve as the main point of contact for client communication during campaign execution. Lead all campaign related communication, including kick off calls, weekly status calls, and troubleshooting discussions.
- Manage campaign execution to ensure all campaign requirements are met; measure campaign progress and communicate effectively both internally and externally.
- Monitor performance campaign delivery, troubleshoot and escalate delivery issues, and provide optimization opportunities and solutions.
- Experience building media plans
- Generate and analyze detailed campaign reporting; provide Sales team with detailed insights and analysis for client and suggest optimization strategies for increased performance
- Solve client campaign issues with little or no supervision
- Work from Grindr West Hollywood office
Requirements
- BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field is preferred
- 1-3 years Digital account management/media planning experience
- A background working with clients and/or in a client services role
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), CRM systems
- Knowledge of the interactive marketplace
- Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to multi-task; must be able to juggle multiple projects and clients
- Strong Analytical skills; must be able to think critically about both client needs and internal solutions
