Account Executive (Inside Sales)

Santa Monica, CA

BloomNation is the online floral marketplace that is disrupting the multi-billion dollar online floral space. Our rapidly growing team is backed by the best investors in the industry including: Andreessen Horowitz (AirBnB, Facebook, Lyft, Twitter, etc.), Spark Capital (Tumblr, Warby Parker, etc.), and Crunch Fund (Square, Uber, etc.). In the same way you have seen Uber and AirBnB change consumer behavior, BloomNation has already dramatically changed the way flowers are bought and sent online.

We are looking for energetic and driven inside salespeople to join our all-star team. You will work with the country’s best local florists by onboarding them and getting them to use BloomNation’s suite of enterprise tools including: customized websites, point of sale, marketing tools and more.

Role

Be part of our growing inside sales team, signing up new accounts through outbound calling efforts and inbound leads. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• Hit or exceed your monthly new revenue quota.

• Work closely with your Account Manager to onboard and manage larger accounts.

• Make 40-60 phone calls (12+ conversations) per day to assigned leads.

• Run call and email campaigns to generate new sales prospects.

• Reports directly to Co-Founder / Head of Sales.

Compensation

• Competitive compensation (base+commission+equity) 

Required Skills/Characteristics

• 1-5 years of experience in B2B Lead Generation or Sales (preferably experience selling eCommerce platforms/SaaS).

• People person: sociable, excitable, and inquisitive.

• Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up culture.

• Hustler and a Closer – no means try harder.

• High need for achievement and competition. Loves to compete and win.

• Enthusiastic, optimistic and certain of victory. Unfazed by rejection.

• Coachable. Listens to and implements advice from manager.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Tech-savvy.

• Experience working with CRM desired.

• Experience working and succeeding in a quota and goal driven environment.

• Passion for local business, new tech, startups, and flowers.

• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PPT), and Google Docs.

• Easily builds rapport and establishes relationships with prospects. Referrals are the norm.

• Listens patiently. Will probe and clarify to get a real sense of customer's needs.

• Resourceful. Goes over, under, around and through obstacles to achieve success.

• Knowledge of flowers/floral trends is a huge plus.

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required.
