We’ve assembled an amazing team of passionate, inventive, ambitious and impossibly nerdy people who create and curate our physical and digital products, cultivate our amazing fan community, provide support of the highest caliber and generally just sit there radiating niceness. Our employees are hard-working and enjoy everything from ping-pong tournaments to free loot. Basically, be fun, be spontaneous, be a risk-taker and come unleash your inner geek with us!
"We've taken the time and effort to hand pick a team of thinkers, planners and implementers. We've got the runway to create and define some of the most creative and industry leading products. This is a place that encourages the pursuit of skills and knowledge that enhance your self, your team and your ability tackle large challenges. Very few places can I pursue and be encouraged to push the boundaries of AR/VR and other cutting edge technologies before competition seizes the market. Loot Crate recognizes the and understands the need to be at the forefront of its areas of interest."
"I think what I like most about working here is that you have a combination of insane, non-stop work ahead of you, and the backing and support of a really awesome team. It's scary and challenging, but around this crowd it feels possible, and is a lot of fun. To top it off there's something new to learn almost daily."
Working at Loot Crate as an engineer is one of the best career choices I've ever made. We are not shipping some intangible software that promises to make your life easier or to make the way you go about daily activities more efficient. The product we ship is quite simply put, an amazing box full of awesome fandoms and geek culture. Not only is it incredibly easy to love our product (because everyone geeks out about something), but having the knowledge that Looters around the world receive their crate monthly and experience some of the same feelings that we do at the office is often over-looked. I enjoy that I get to work on special projects kept underwraps before releasing publicly and being able to share with all my friends on Facebook. With more brands recognizing Loot Crate, we are able to partner with bigger names, like Blizzard, Marvel and Microsoft. Being a junior developer, I can say that learning to work at Loot Crate can often feel like trying to hold onto a really fast moving motorcycle or speedboat. The pace of fresh features and new projects is off the charts, and requires excellent, if not efficient communication skills, exceptional time management capability and on-the-fly collaboration with your team. When all is said, the work is very rewarding knowing that more than half a million Looters will visit the site, and see or benefit from the work that we accomplish.
Here is why my team is great: We are continually looking for ways to approve. We have a safe environment to communicate in. We work collaboratively, and everyone is willing to take time out of their day to help each other out.
