Rockstar San Diego is on the lookout for a talented Workplace Services Coordinator. As part of the Workplace Services Team, you will provide key coordination of the day-to-day operation of the site and its facilities services.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s new state-of-the-art game development studio in Carlsbad, CA. 

WHAT WE DO
  • The Rockstar Workplace Services Team (WPS) is responsible for ensuring the workplace, building, facilities, and services work harmoniously together to support the core business.
  • We create a creative, supportive, and safe working environment for the staff at Rockstar.
  • We manage and develop both a variety of services and programs, including building maintenance, security, cleaning, catering, and space utilization and strategy.
  • We ensure the site complies with all relevant guidance and legislation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a key point of contact for communications with the WPS team, reporting and prioritizing any issues, performing work or engaging contractors if required, tracking and managing the tasks to resolution.
  • Coordinating services and trades such as repairs and maintenance, plant vendor, furniture delivery, cleaning, waste and food and beverage services etc.
  • Coordinating, planning, and executing designated projects while ensuring all work is done to a high standard. 
  • Conducting checks and audits of the site and workplace services.
  • Keeping trackers and management systems up to date and produce reports. 
  • Assist with the procurement, administration and coordination of Workplace Services including coordinating team and project POs.
  • Support the management of Health and Safety and compliance within the team including writing risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Undertake any ad-hoc duties within reason to maintain the building and facilities.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships with Landlord/Property Management teams.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years’ experience working within a Facilities or Workplace Operations role in a corporate office environment, ideally supporting complex buildings and services.
  • Experience in overseeing service contracts.
  • Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
  • A good understanding of current safety legislation and best practice.
  • A detail oriented, flexible self-starter with strong initiative, excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Planning and project management skills with the ability to consider things from multiple angles.
  • Process-driven and outcome-focused, always looking for quality improvement and ensuring processes are documented accurately.  
  • Capable of working autonomously, while also understanding when and where to seek guidance and approval.
  • Experience in overlapping business support fields, e.g. IT, Administration, Operations.

The pay range for this position in San Diego at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.  


Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
