We are looking for an experienced Workday Integrations Engineer who is innovative at architecting solutions for Reddit’s HR Tech stack.  You’ll have an opportunity to advise, design, and build a variety of integrations in support of our critical initiatives across the business.

This role sits within the Enterprise Applications & Engineering organization. You will partner closely with business partners across various teams including people operations, recruiting, benefits, payroll, finance, and security. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who thrives on making integrations seamless through creative solutions and automations. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Perform all stages of the development lifecycle to create integrations & automations for our HR tech stack - from requirements gathering, solution design, security configuration, build, functional/technical testing, and product deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with our internal Workday product managers and cross-functional partners to turn business needs into high quality, scalable, and secure integrations. 
  • Develop and maintain Workday Studio integrations, EIBs, APIs, RaaS, and Core Connectors.
  • Develop and maintain custom applications leveraging Workday Extend.
  • Monitor the success of our integrations portfolio and resolve integration errors within critical timelines and SLAs.
  • Manage and ongoing pipeline of Jira projects and backlog work by collaborating and prioritizing closely with stakeholders and leaders.
  • Write clear and concise technical requirements documents and guide stakeholders on establishing agreed upon specifications and outcomes for integration implementations.
  • Follow change management controls and document work throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Be a trusted thought partner for our stakeholders by advising on technical HR systems capabilities during project intake sessions and RFP’s.
  • Proactively learn and expand knowledge of Workday’s functional and technical changes in order to stay ahead of impacts to key integrations.
  • Quickly learn new technologies, think out-of-the-box to find creative solutions, and present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
  • Requires 7+ years of experience in the full lifecycle of Workday integrations, including building, testing, and deployment. Expertise should include Workday Studio, Connectors, and RaaS integrations within HCM, Benefits, and Payroll, as well as integrations with ATS and internal IT systems.
  • Requires strong Workday functional and security knowledge in order to independently assess requirements and troubleshoot errors effectively.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with creating and managing integration security permissions, custom reports, and advanced calculated fields.
  • Prefer some experience developing custom applications with Workday Extend.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading development end-to-end, from initial concept to implementation.
  • Ability to work in a multi-project, fast paced environment 
  • Strong knowledge and experience working in sprints, following agile methodology and change management processes is required.
  • Strong work ethic and accountability to ensure implementations are successful, being flexible in managing multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others and maintain positive morale.
  • Exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience at a public company and/or with SOX processes preferred.
  • Workday Integration Certification preferred.

This role is 100% remote, and open only to candidates currently located within the United States.

This job posting may span more than one career level.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:
$167,500$234,500 USD
